Is there any opportunity for a mechanically inclined 13 year old mountain bike enthusiast who lives right by McLaren to help with the project at this juncture? He’s got lots of time this summer!
Hi Maya! I wish that was possible. It would be awesome 🙂 Unfortunately there is a lot of red tape and certification required for anyone that touches construction. Those of us who’ve spent 8-10 years on the project aren’t even allowed to step into the construction area. Upon completion of Phase 1 there will be plenty of volunteer opportunities, but that will be toward the end of the summer.
